It All Started with a Jar of Kimchi.

I didn’t grow up planning to run a kitchen, but I did grow up around bold flavours and cooking that brought people together. One day, feeling nostalgic, I made my first jar of kimchi, then another, and another. Before long, friends were asking for more, people online wanted to buy it, and The Kimchi Girl was born.

What began with fermentation grew into a place where comfort food meets creativity, Korean staples alongside falafel wraps, pesto sandwiches, arancini, pasta, and our most popular Lisbon cake. Everything is made fresh, with seasonal ingredients and a lot of love.

I cook the way my mother and grandmother taught me: carefully, intuitively, and generously. Whether gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or just comforting, our food feels like home even if you’re far away.

Thanks for sharing a meal with us. We’re glad you’re here.
